Biografia	Swagato Ghosh is a Portfolio Manager at Matthews and co-manages the firm’s India Strategy. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, he was an investment analyst at Franklin Templeton India, where he was the lead cement, real estate and consumer discretionary analyst. From 2016 to 2018, he was an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management researching the U.S. health care sector. From 2013 to 2015, Swagato was an equity research analyst at Jefferies India. He received his B.Tech in Mining Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Swagato is fluent in Hindi and Bengali. Swagato has been a Portfolio Manager for the Matthews India Fund and Matthews India Active ETF since 2023.

Biografia	Peeyush Mittal, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Matthews and manages the firm’s India Strategy and co-manages the firm’s Emerging Markets Equity, Emerging Markets ex China, Asia Growth and Pacific Tiger Strategies. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, he spent over three years at Franklin Templeton Asset Management India, most recently as a Senior Research Analyst. Previously, he was with Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management New York, from 2009 to 2011, researching U.S. and European stocks in the industrials and materials sectors. Peeyush began his career in 2003 with Scot Forge as an Industrial Engineer, and was responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing systems on the production shop floor. Peeyush earned his M.B.A from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He received a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering from The Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He is fluent in Hindi. Peeyush has been a Portfolio Manager of the Matthews India Fund since 2018, of the Matthews Emerging Markets Equity Fund, Matthews Emerging Markets Equity Active ETF, Matthews Emerging Markets ex China Active ETF, Matthews Asia Growth Fund, Matthews Pacific Tiger Fund and Matthews Pacific Tiger Active ETF since 2023 and of the Matthews India Active ETF since its inception in 2023.

Biografia	Sharat Shroff is a Portfolio Manager at Matthews and manages the firm’s Pacific Tiger Strategy and co-manages the India Strategy. Prior to joining the Matthews in 2005 as a Research Analyst, Sharat worked in the San Francisco and Hong Kong offices of Morgan Stanley as an Equity Research Associate. Sharat received a Bachelor of Technology from the Institute of Technology in Varanasi, India and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, in Calcutta, India. He is fluent in Hindi and Bengali. Sharat has been a Portfolio Manager of the Matthews Pacific Tiger Fund since 2008 and of the Matthews India Fund since 2006.

Biografia	RAJEEV MITTAL Managing Director, CEO, PineBridge Investments Asia Limited (Asia ex Japan) Head of Emerging Markets and International Fixed Income Rajeev Mittal, in his role as CEO for Asia Ex Japan, is responsible for implementing PineBridge’s dynamic growth strategy across the Asia Pacific region where PineBridge has a long history of servicing both institutional and retail clients. Prior to taking on his expanded role in Asia and relocating to Hong Kong from London early in 2011, Rajeev was CEO for PineBridge Investments in Europe. Rajeev is also Head of Emerging Markets and International Fixed Income, overseeing all aspects of portfolio management, research and trading of emerging market strategies in hard and local currencies and credit default swaps. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee, a member of the Fixed Income Asset Allocation Team and also represents fixed income in the Global Asset Allocation Committee meetings. Since joining the firm in 1992, Rajeev’s responsibilities have included portfolio management of single currency U.S. Dollar, Sterling, and Irish Punt portfolios, as well as global bond portfolios. He became Head of International Fixed Income in March 2009, overseeing Global Sovereign strategies and various country specific strategies focused in Asia. He received a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bradford.
Sunil Asnani	Senior Associate	2011	2020
Biografia	Sunil Asnani is a Portfolio Manager at Matthews. Prior to joining the firm in 2008 as a Research Analyst, he was a Senior Associate in the Corporate Finance and Strategy practice for McKinsey & Company in New York. In 2006, Sunil earned his M.B.A from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. From 1999 to 2004, he served in various capacities, including as Superintendent of Police, for the Indian Police Service in Trivandrum, India. Sunil received a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India. He is fluent in Sindhi, Hindi and Malayalam.
