L’obiettivo dell’Emerging Markets Equity Fund è massimizzare il rendimento totale, denominato in Dollari USA, investendo principalmente in titoli azionari di paesi emergenti. Il Comparto investirà nei paesi emergenti nei quali la Società ritiene che l’economia si stia fortemente sviluppando e nei quali i mercati stanno evolvendo verso forme più complesse. Fra tali paesi si annoverano Argentina, Botswana, Brasile, Cile, Cina, Colombia, Grecia, Ungheria, India, Indonesia, Giamaica, Giordania, Kenya, Malesia, Messico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Filippine, Polonia, Portogallo, Federazione Russa, Sudafrica, Corea del Sud, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tailandia, Turchia, Venezuela e Zimbabwe, nella misura in cui i mercati di questi paesi possano essere ritenuti mercati riconosciuti ai sensi dell’Articolo 41 (1) della legge del 20 dicembre 2002 sugli organismi di investimento collettivo, e successive modifiche.
